Aromatherapy is said to be widely beneficial in alleviating sore muscles, minor colds, and symptoms of stress. Today, I?ll be taking you through some practical aromatherapy scents and uses. After all, you never know when you?ll need an aromatic pick me up.
Which Aromatherapy Blend Do You Need?

1. Good Night?s Sleep
Mix 7 drops of Roman chamomile with 5 drops of lavender to help fall asleep. Personally, I?ve found lavender to be a gem as a relaxer and sleeping aid. It?s one of my favorite essential oils whenever I have the chance to pamper myself with a massage.
2. Sore Muscles
Some say?a combination of the following help soothe sore muscles: 2 drops of ginger, 1 drop of black pepper, 4 drops of peppermint, and 5 drops of eucalyptus. A few whiffs of the mixture should help do the trick.

Relieve yourself from stress with the help of a few essential oils. Here?s my suggestion: Mix 2 drops of lemon oil, 4 drops of essential oil, and 6 drops of clary sage. Clary sage oil has also been known to help reduce anxiety. That’s why it?s always good to have a small bottle of this essential oil stocked up.

In need of a little pick-me-up? Others say?a combination of 4 drops of lemon, 4 drops of peppermint, and 2 drops of Frankincense can help turn someone?s day around. The scent of Frankincense can be a tad too strong for some, so I recommend to use this sparingly.
5. Concentrate

One of the benefits aromatherapy is known for is its way of increasing a person?s concentration. Simply create a concoction consisting of 4 drops of lemon oil, 2 drops of peppermint oil, and 6 drops of rosemary oil. Rosemary oil primarily functions as a stimulant. That’s why it’s one of the popular essential oils for students and anyone needing extra help to focus.
6. Mood Enhancer
Have you ever had those moments where a scent can change your disposition in a snap? I know I have. My secret lies in mixing 8 drops of orange essential oil and 2 drops of Ylang-ylang essential oil. The citrus scent of orange is such a lovely whiff ? it makes me feel so energized.

8. Sinus Relief
Feeling a little under the weather because of your blocked sinuses? Here?s a tip for sinus relief: Mix 8 drops of eucalyptus with 4 drops of peppermint. The best part is, this sinus relief medication is all natural and nontoxic ? perfect for those concerned with their well-being.
9. Cramp Relief
A woman?s monthly visitor sure can make its presence known sometimes. If you need a little help in alleviating cramps, try mixing 5 drops of peppermint oil, 4 drops of cypress oil, and 3 drops of lavender oil. You can also apply?this on your lower abdomen area and place?a warm compress after for maximum relief.
10. Injuries and Pain
Looking for an all natural way to help alleviate injuries and pain? Try mixing 6 drops of lavender oil with 6 drops of tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is said to clean wounds and help make healing faster. So it?s definitely one of the best essential oils to place in your medicine cabinet.
